I take this opportunity to mention and thank Ron Whitcomb for his years with our club. Ron started riding in 1975 with a 440 Raider. Although he was never a club officer, he was involved with the club for many years and helped build and widen many bridges and trails. In the early years they built wooden drags and would groom with about four snowmobiles in a group with each one riding a little further to the left of the one in front so they could groom the trails as wide as possible. He and others started riding in northern New Hampshire and were impressed with the groomers and better trails.
