Idaho State Snowmobile Association To Host
40TH Anniversary International Snowmobile Congress
(Boise, Idaho) Boise will play host this June to the 40th Anniversary International Snowmobile Congress, according to one of the event’s organizers, Sandra Mitchell. Snowmobile enthusiasts from around the country and foreign countries will come to the Boise Convention Centre on June 12-14, 2008.
“We are thrilled to host one of the largest snowmobile events in the world,” said Mitchell. “This Congress is shaping up to have one of the best line-ups of speakers and panels focusing on issues important to the snowmobile community. It will also offer the opportunity for people from around the world to share their snowmobiling stories and experiences, in the world class setting of Boise, Idaho.”
Mitchell said the Congress would culminate with a spectacular theme banquet called “Sports Night” which organizers promise will be full of surprises and fun for all in attendance. Attendees will be encouraged to wear their favorite team colors from high school, college or a professional team.
Boise has been rated by several publications as one of the best places to live, start a business or to visit. “At this time of year the weather is beautiful,” Mitchell added. The Grove Hotel and many other facilities, including restaurants, boutiques, movie theaters as well as historic sites are within walking distance of the convention centre.
