Northwest Vermont Trail Conditions
General Northwest Vermont Trail Conditions
March 5th, 2010
Trail conditions are deterioating and the snow is melting fast. Last week's storm put most of the clubs back in business, however with the warmer temps, rain and high winds, this has put a big damper on conditions. There's some riding in the higher elevations of Richford, Eden, Belvedier and Sterling Mountain. Otherwise riding is not recommended at this time.
Please note that there is a curfew and posted speed limit on the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail. The curfew is posted from 11PM to 6AM, and the speed limit is 35 MPH. These will be enforced by law enforcement agencies as future use of this trail depends on compliance.
